What have I been doing since 2009? Wow!!! So much has happened since then. I had a beautiful baby girl and took care of my Dad, who had a stroke last year and went back to college. Life has a way of getting away from you when you're not looking.
And somewhere along the way I was able to squeeze out a few batches of soap. Not too many, but enough to satisfy my family and friends. Soap is my canvas. I love to mix colors and fragrances!!! It's an addiction. One I hope I never have to go to rehab for!
Just reopened my Artfire Store and started making more soap.

I hope everyone out there is doing great and I look forward to posting more and catching up

I know..I know....

I know how slack I am. I have not been here in months. I guess when my pc was down I got a little lazy. I have been busy at home though. Going though closets, cleaning out stuff I don't use and making soap. And I finally posted some soaps on Artfire. I had my first sale within a couple of days. I got excited.
I need to post here more often about things. What can I talk about tonite. I made homemade cinnamon rolls and I am rebatching some soap as we speak. I am so worried it will look like poo. Nice smelling poo. It is in the crock pot now.....gelling away. I will try to post a pick in the next couple of days . We'll see how it goes. Hate to cut it short but I smell soap cookin....

Selling soap & working on a website.

Soap is not only taking over my life but my house. I have been working on a website while trying to get ready for Christmas. I'm not complaining but my children are. If you are interested in my soaps, you can contact me at aprilleec@gmail.com. My soaps weigh in at 4+ Ounces per Bar and are loaded with the finest Oils butters, essential oils and high quality fragrance oils. They are made following the cold process method and allowed to cure for 4-6 weeks to ensure a mild and long lasting bar. I will not charge ridiculous prices on shipping and insurance is at your discretion. Holiday Scent Descriptions

I have been out of commission. I have a child with tonsillitis and I have been ill. I am feeling some better. So , here are the holiday scent descriptions I promised last week:

Merry Mistletoe- You will detect a floral bouquet note, which is enhanced by fruits and warm spices with just a subtle hint of pine & musk to make this a very romantic holiday fragrance.

Pumpkin Pie-A scrumptious concoction of smooth pumpkin with the warm, spicy notes of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon topped with a rich layer of butter. You'll swear theirs a pie in the oven. A definite mouth-watering "must" for the autumn and winter festivities!

Balsam Windsong- The wind blows across rows of Balsam pines and mixes with the scent of the lush Mountain forest floor to create this mesmerizing fragrance.

Beneath the Stars- A blend of Grape, Peach, Citrus, Plum, Rose and Musk. Perfectly balanced to bring you a tender medley.

Apple Peel-The crisp, tart goodness of apples is first and foremost. Added is the zingy tang of orange peel, and topped off with just the right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove to enhance but not overwhelm the fragrance. The perfect combination for a true Christmas scent.

My available fragrance list. Still a work in progress.

I have had a busy weekend. I have been trying to re-organize my fragrances. This is a list of what I am keeping in stock.:

Oats,Milk And Bees- This is a great comfort scent. It's the warm scent of oatmeal combined with the nutty notes of almonds and the silky notes of soft vanilla.
Spun Sugar- The perfect combination of pink cotton candy notes with a warm vanilla and caramel base.Add just a hint of citrus zest with soft musk bottom notes to round out this whimsical fragrance.
Irish Creed- This fragrance possesses a spicy sweet blend of French Verbena and lemon with a green center of Florentine Iris, violet leaves and sublime base notes of sandalwood and ambergris. It is the perfect sporty, masculine scent.
Naked - It is Pure and Simple. Perfect for those with allergies to fragrances and essential oils.
Appleberry-  This is the perfect pairing of tart apples and sweet luscious berries. Not overly sweet but just right. This one reminds me of the end of summer vacation.
Vanilla Sugar- Sandalwood, vanilla and musk with a light floral undertone. Sweet, sexy and unforgettable.
Winter Dreams- Complex mix of patchouli, citrus, vanilla and sandalwood with a hint of spice. One of our most popular scents. Just in time for cooler weather.

I'll work on posting the seasonal scents tomorrow.
